Advanced Connecting Options

USB over Network Client allows you to setup additional connection options for every USB device.

Select USB device and click Edit button.

Auto-Connect the Device when it is Available

This option enables connection of selected USB device automatically when it becomes available on the Server.

Connect USB Device by Device ID

This option may be used if you have several similar USB devices plugged into the server and you need to connect the exact device (e.g., there are 3 similar USB Flash Drives shared on the server and you need to connect only first Flash Drive with your data).

The problem is that the similar USB devices look similar in the list of devices on client side.

To solve this problem, unique Device ID is assigned to every USB device depending on type of a device and number of a port it is plugged into.

Enabling "Connect USB device by Device ID" option you will certainly connect the needed USB device.
