Win XP Pro S2 Firewall

Hi, I’m trying to get the Network Serial Port Kit to work on a couple of PCs running Win XP Pro Service Pack 2. At first it didn’t work at all, but then I created an exception in Windows firewall and I got it to work, albeit slowly. Can you recommend settings to get it working properly? Please let me know if you need more descriptive information.

Yes, please describe in detail what do you mean under slow program work?
