Title: Re: How fast is 'usb over network'? Post by Andrew on May 12th, 2006, 5:37am Unfortunately your TV-tuner will not work over our USB over Network product because TV-tuners are so called isochronous devices. Today isochronous devices are not compatible with our product because they require specific timing coordination. When data travels across a busy network, data packets can experience variable delays due to network traffic. This “first come, first served” delivery method is problematic for isochronous devices because the data must be delivered within specific time restraints. We are working on this problem now and hope to overcome it in the next program versions. |
