Garmin GPS - USB Mass Storage USB redirect failure

I am attempting to connect a Garmin GPSmap 76CSx to a RDC on Win 2K3 using your USB4RD product.  I can successfully connect a USB flash drive, but am having difficulties with my Garmin GPS.
 
On my GPS, I can enable a 'Mass Storage' mode so that Windows sees my GPS as a big USB drive, then I can pull data from the device.  This is how I transfer data from my device to my local PC.  
 
I am able to change the mode of the device to Mass Storage, and USB4RD (Workstation) recognises the Mass Storage device, but as soon as I 'Redirect USB device', my GPS is rebooted and is no longer in Mass Storage mode.  Obviously, the RDC session cannot see the device.
 
Any thoughts as to why USB4RD would be resetting my GPS USB device?  Thanks in advance.
